Certified Translations
When a certified translation is required, it must be done by a translator registered in a public registry and recognized as an official translator.
Tramite Italia focuses on all types of sworn translations related to Italian, with a particular focus on sworn translations from Spanish to Italian and from Italian to Spanish.
For translations into other languages Tramite Italia relies on the collaboration of reputed professional translators with wide experience and expertise to offer a service that reaches excellence.
Certified translations into Spanish to be submitted in Spain.
Certified Spanish translations are used for official documents that must be presented in Spain.
For example, when a person from Italy or another country who lives in Spain and who needs to carry out procedures before the Spanish public administration and has to present official documents, for example Italian documents, will need sworn translations from Italian to Spanish.
If the documents are from another country, in this case from the language of the document, such as French, English or another language into Spanish.
For example, when you have to apply for the residency of the couple, get married or become a domestic partner. In these cases a sworn translator is essential to translate these documents with legal validity.
In order to be valid in Spain, the Translator must be appointed by the MAEC, have the title of Sworn Translator and stamp and sign the Translation.
Italian to Spanish certified translations are the strongest specialization of our office Tramite Italia.
Is a certified translation into Spanish valid in all Spanish-speaking countries?
In fact, despite the linguistic variations of Spanish speakers in the different Spanish-speaking countries, there are no substantial differences in sworn translations, so that a sworn translation into Spanish made by official translators cannot be used in any Spanish-speaking country: Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela, Cuba, Peru, Ecuador, etc.
Certified Italian translations to be submitted in Italy.
Certified Italian translations are used for official documents to be presented in Italy.
Many Italians or foreigners who need to submit documents to the Italian public administration require sworn Italian translations.
For example, when a transcript of a foreign marriage or the birth of a child has to be requested. In these cases a Certified Italian translator is indispensable to translate these documents with legal validity.
First of all, translations cannot be bridge translations, that means that for example an English document cannot be translated first into Spanish and then from Spanish into Italian. The translation must be direct from English to Italian.
Not accepting what is defined as bridge translations, it is necessary to divide sworn translations into two categories.
The first category is when the sworn translation is from the official language of the country where you live into Italian.
The second category of sworn translations refers to documents in a language other than the official language of the country where you live.
General rule on certified translations
Documents in the official language of the country where you live
If the documents that require a sworn translation are in the official language of the country where you live, these translations can be done by a sworn translator whose signature is deposited at the Italian Consulate of the country where you live. In order to be legally valid in Italy, it will be sufficient to legalize the translations and the translator's signature at the local Italian consulate.
Documents in a language other than the official language of the country where the person lives
For example, a person living in Spain with official documents in English - no matter if they are issued in the United States, United Kingdom or Australia - or in French, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese or any other language will have to translate them into Italian. In these cases we will not find sworn translators in Spain from English to Italian, from French to Italian or from Arabic to Italian.
In order for the sworn translation to be legally valid in Italy, the translation must be done in Italy where there is an Italian sworn translator registered in court and he/she will have to swear personally before the judge about the translation, and will have to pay and stamp the translation with the “marca da bollo”.
Naturally Tramite Italia has sworn Italian translators in both Spain and Italy, so that we can guarantee you an Official Sworn Translation valid before the Italian public authorities.
